There are probably worse fates than being marooned on some tropical island with a gorgeous, smooth dark maroon(ed) Bakelite Sun Dial Philco. As long as there was electricity, of course! How can two words like maroon be spelled the same yet so different? Electronically reconditioned and aligned with new paper capacitors and electrolytics added.
