Airline radios sold!

Airline 84BR-1507 (1948)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Airline 84BR-1507 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Unique and very streamline almost Loewy-esque in design is this Airline from Monkey-Wards back in 1948! A beautiful heavily swirled walnut Bakelite case that glimmers in daylight and shines by dial light at night! The push buttons work! It has been electronically reconditioned and aligned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and out of tolerance resistors replaced. The five tubes were original, but I had to replace one. I also installed a new power cord! A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Streamline Special!" If you'd like additional pictures please let me know.
