THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a handsome ivory Bakelite radio with its original factory applied paint. Its radio is beautiful and the clock is completely functional; alarm, snooze, auto, off, radio and, yes, the timer for an appliance in the back. It has been electronically restored, the five tubes are strong and it plays good, too! This Admiral, like my earlier Stromberg Carlson C-1, can operate independently from the clock/alarm function. Or, it will work in concert with the annoying "buzzing" of the alarm. You can see the factory back is in great shape and so is the tube layout on the bottom. The case shows only minimal wear - a real 10+! If you'd like additional pics please let me know. |
