Philharmonic 51C3A (1951)
(Bakelite tube clock radio)

Philharmonic 51C3A (1951)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The model number doesn't really makes any difference because the name Philharmonic makes it unique. There aren't many around or in this mint condition! Phil (that's what I call him) was made in New Brunswick, NJ. Phil has beautiful brown swirled Bakelite and is very Art Deco looking. I could only find one reference to this radio: Machine Age to Jet Age II under 'Miscellaneous.' That's an understatement. In other words, it's rare. Tubes are good and it has new capacitors. The clock, alarm and radio work good. The tube layout is on the back which is in good shape! If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
