Continental 1600 (1948)
(plastic tube clock radio)

Continental 1600 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A stunning and streamline '48 Continental in black plastic with left side wraparound bars and speaker. Three of the five tubes were original, but two had to be replaced along with all new capacitors. It plays real good! The clock keeps perfect time and the alarm works, too. Meanwhile, the tube layout visible on the back (see photo) is in very good condition. There is a small hairline on the top that I have repaired/reinforced from underneath - inside the case. It can't be seen in the picture or, in person, for that matter, so I indicated its location (see photo). If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
