THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a nice five-tube Zenith table radio that is AM only. It has a black & light beige and gold trim plastic cabinet that has a few scuffs here and there but no cracks, chips or hairlines. It has a built-in antenna. The main feature of this set is that behind that big grille in front is a 6"x9" oval speaker! It has excellent bass and frequency response. It also has a hand wired point-to-point chassis. Zenith was the last of the major manufacturers to go to printed circuit boards. The quality goes in before the name goes on! I went through this radio and found out is was entirely original and never had been worked on. I discovered one tube that was shorted and everything else was working as designed. I aligned it as well. It plays out with a very nice tube sound! This would make a good radio for home or office or add to your mid-century modern collection. 10-1/2"W x 7-1/4"H x 6-1/2"D.
