THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is the iconic 50's "Dashboard" radio from Crosley. It is AM only, has a built in antenna with provision for hooking a long wire to it for more reception. It has the look of a car dashboard's instruments back in the day. It has a slate green painted Bakelite case and is all original including paint, knobs, back and cord. The gold plating is very good, even showing some on the high use knobs. There are a few "flea bites" in the painted case. I went through the chassis and clock, replacing caps, tubes and aligning the set. I lubed the clock and cleaned the radio controls. The clock has an alarm feature which allows you to plug an appliance into the side and have it come on at a set time. The clock hands are luminous for night viewing. These radios came in an assortment of colors and this might be the one you are missing in your collection! It plays out with a nice mellow tube sound. 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D.
