Admiral 15-D5 (1940)

Admiral 15-D5 (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This is a Deco streamline design from Admiral. It is a five-tube, AM only set. It has a dark brown Bakelite case with no cracks or chips. It has the original back and knobs. The cord has been checked for safety. The back says "Super Aeroscope Spiderweb Antenna Concealed." A mysterious way of saying it has a built-in antenna! It also has a connection for a long wire antenna. I went through the chassis and replaced weak tubes, filters, caps, and resistors. It plays out with a nice mellow tube sound. This would make a nice addition to your collection or just listen to ball games on it this summer! 10-1/2"W x 7"H x 6"D.
