Arvin 502 (1939)
(metal tube table radio)

Arvin 502 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a small Deco painted metal radio from Arvin. It has five tubes and is AM only. The metal case is painted ivory and has some paint chips here and there. The bottom of the case shows some surface rust. It has the original knobs and metal back. It has an antenna "hank" of wound up wire that picks up local stations that can be attached to for more distance. I went through the chassis and replaced the filters, caps and weak tubes. It has a new polarized cord for safety and it has been aligned as well. It plays out with a nice mellow tube sound. 8"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D.
