| Here is a 60's Zenith table model J430W solid state radio. It has AM-FM-AFC bands with "Long Distance Tuned RF" circuitry. It has bass and treble controls, a signal strength meter and a "bass booster" in the back of the set. With a 5-watt heavy magnet Samsung speaker it really pours out a full sound with lots of bass available. It has a built in AM antenna and uses the power cord for an FM antenna. With that extra RF circuit it has good selectivity and sensitivity. There is an RCA jack for an extra speaker in the back. It has an all wood case with walnut veneer. It is all original and hasn't been refinished. Only attention I gave it was cleaning and lubing the controls. This would make a great vintage radio for home or office. 16"W x 10"H x 6-1/2"D. |
