Are you one of those people with a stack of LPs in the closet and no way to play them? Jackpot! Buy this and remind yourself why you bought them! While not a beauty contest winner, this Zenith R566 is a very well designed radio phonograph that can play them all! 33, 45, 78, even the rare 12-inch 78s. I chucked the awful sounding original cartridge and fitted it with a modern, hi-fi flip stylus cartridge. It has a nice, big, perfect 8-inch speaker and the sound is surprisingly good. A little road rash on the Bakelite case, but pretty nice for its age. The finish on the radio dial is somewhat deteriorated. All high testing tubes. All new caps, resistors as necessary, and a full alignment. Bring back some great memories from the golden days of music! It is large and heavy so shipping will hurt a little, but once you fire up that Patsy Cline album you'll forget all about it. 20"W x 16"D x 9-1/2"H. 30 pounds.
