THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Get a load of this cute little Detrola 321 table radio from 1939/1940. Unlike almost every other radio company from Chicago, Detrola set up operations in Detroit, hence the name. This is a very nice restoration. The grille is usually pretty awful on these but I was able to get this one fairly straight. I had to make a dial glass for it, but it looks very nice. One repop speaker screw. One minor veneer repair on the front and one little speck in the top finish. I went overboard on the finish of this set and it is very nice. All new caps, resistors as necessary, three tube replacements and a full alignment. The sound is very good and it has very good reception. I wasn't real sure how to price this, but look at those pictures! This thing is very sweet. Come on. Break your addiction to Chicago and pick up this little gem from the motor city! |
