THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Check out this spectacular example of the unique and rare Philco 37-604 table radio from 1936/1937. Beautiful, stylish Art Deco design in one of the most distinctive table radios of its time. This sporty little five-tuber had top mounted tuning controls and brought in stations on Broadcast and Short Wave. The cabinet has been beautifully restored in the original walnut and the top is in stunningly good condition. Fully recapped and resistors as necessary. Caps were stuffed in the original tar pot shells to retain originality. The odd Philco bias cell was replaced with a modern LR44 Silver cell that should last at least 10 years. This set is very eye catching and will make an outstanding addition to your collection. It is one of my nicest restorations and I hope you will be as proud of it as I am. |
