THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Offered for sale a very sweet and rare Zenith LH "Zenette." This was an early effort in 1932 for Zenith to address the depression era money crunch and compete with the flood of cheapo sets coming on the market. Unlike the four- and five-tube cut rate sets, it was built with seven tubes and has much better sensitivity than most of those. It has been lovingly restored in a rich vermilion walnut hue, and I think it is stunningly beautiful. The knobs are not original (I made them myself); I also fabricated the tube cover. All caps and resistors have been replaced and a full alignment done. I feel confident that people will notice this gem among your collection. For the person who wants to have something no one else is likely to have, this is what you are looking for. |
