This radio is a rare Detrola model 175E. Eight tubes, three bands: AM/SW1/SW2 reception. The cabinet has been professionally restored and looks fantastic. A beautiful design that has made this model extremely popular with collectors. The radio features a new bright green tuning eye tube, has nine station presets with motorized tuning using the push buttons below the dial, and a brightly illuminated dial for night use. The radio has been professionally restored with all capacitors being replaced and any failed or weak components such as tubes and resistors replaced as needed. New safe power cord, new crystal clear dial cover. Original knobs. Plays great! The cabinet has been professionally refinished and is beautiful.
