Beautiful Art Deco styling! Made by Detrola for the Sears-Roebuck & Co. (Silvertone). The all-original brown swirled (not painted) Bakelite bullet-shaped cabinet with white dial and knobs is in immaculate condition with no hairlines, cracks or chips. The built-in loop antenna has a perfect back cover. Ready to display and play, it looks great and plays great. The Silvertone 6179A is a five-tube, AM set. The radio has had all of the capacitors replaced, resistors and tubes checked and replaced where needed. New power cord, original knobs. This radio is one gorgeous, excellent example! About 8-1/2"W x 5"H x 6"D. Radio will be professionally packed and promptly shipped. I accept checks for payment. I ship only to addresses in the continental United States.
