| 1936 Stewart Warner radio model R144-AS. Five tubes, AM and shortwave reception. Radio works well. Dial lights nicely. I have not had the chassis restored but it appears the prior owner did some good work on it. Finish appears newer and looks good for 85 years old. Wood case is solid but there is a veneer issue on the bend between the top and front (see photo). New power cord. Original knobs. A very nice piece to fully restore or keep in its current glory. This radio is being sold as-is. Shipping anywhere in the continental USA is $25. Will be expertly packed and mailed fully insured. 13"W x 9-1/2"H x 8"D. |
