Rare Blue Dial Zenith radio model 6D512 made in 1941. It one of the last production runs before WWII. Wonderful radio that is in excellent original condition. The case has no chips or cracks. This Deco set was designed by Robert Budlong, a Zenith designer who was responsible for many of Zenith's classic radio designs. The blue dial face features the Zenith logo and AM and Shortwave bands. The foreign countries are marked on the dial. Very cool. It has the original "Z" knobs for on/off, band and tuning. The chassis is a strong performer with six tubes, and all components checked with those that have failed or testing weak being replaced. New power cord. This radio plays well on both bands. Beautiful example of this radio. Shipping is $25 anywhere in the continental USA. 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
