THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

These highly collectable Zenith radios, referred to as a "Cube," was a huge success for Zenith. Soon other manufacturers were designing and selling their own versions of this popular radio. This iconic, good sounding, reliable radio created a huge following and are still desirable radios to this day. Zenith made five models of the "Cube" with the 5-S-218 being the second largest model after the 6-S-222. Blake got into the chassis, replacing all of the capacitors and out-of-tolerance resistors. The tubes were checked and an alignment put the radio in peak performance. Blake installed his new Bluetooth input and switch, which allows the user to turn off the radio to access the Bluetooth input. Gary did his usual masterful work on the Walnut and Mahogany cabinet, ending up with a gorgeous "piano" finish. The radio has the original knobs, speaker and chassis. This is a perfect Zenith "cube" for your collection! 12"W x 11"H x 9"D.
