THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Silvertone was the product name of electronics sold by Sears-Roebuck out of Chicago, Illinois. The first radio was offered in 1920 by catalog and later in retail stores. The 6230 is a six-tube, two-band (AM,SW) AC/DC set. With features like the Ingraham cabinet, tuning eye tube and five-button station, the radio was a good seller for Sears. We replaced all of the capacitors, resistors and tubes checked and replaced where needed. we installed a safety fuse and a cable to "plug-and-play" your external devices. The radio was aligned and is a strong performer across the dial. Gary stripped the cabinet and refinished using high quality products. Just the right amount of toner and lacquer makes this radio a gem for any collection. We retained the original knobs, dial cover and grille cloth. The radio is priced to sell, so come and get it! 15"W x 9"H x 7"D. |
