THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
During the Depression in 1936, Zenith designed and manufactured some beautiful and high-performing radios. This five-tube, three-band (SB, SW, Police) receives broadcasts across the dial with great tone and sensitivity. All of the capacitors have been replaced and the tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed. A safety fuse has been added and a precise alignment insures peak performance for years to come. An audio cable has been added without altering the radio for the use of you own device. Note the Art Deco escutcheon, colorful dial and skillfully crafted cabinet of Maple, Walnut and Quilted Maple veneers. We produced a "factory like" finish using the finest lacquer, toners and grain filler. Radios restored at Joe's Radio Shop look as good in the back as the front and we even match the original satin dark blue on the inside of the cabinet. 18"H x 13"W x 9"D. |
