THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here we have another fabulous pre-War Emerson from 1937. These well-designed "Ingraham" cabinet radios are fun to restore because they have both looks and performance. All the wax/paper capacitors have been replaced with new epoxy coated caps of equal values. The tubes and resistors have been checked and replaced as needed and a precise alignment has been done for years of quality listening. This five-tube, two-band (AM, SW) radio really performs well with great volume and tone. The cabinet is made of maple, walnut, with inlays of burl walnut and red vinyl. Gary has beautifully refinished the cabinet to look like new, and a new "crystal clear" dial cover completes the restoration. It comes with its original chassis, speaker, knobs, back and Ingraham badge. An audio cable has been added to plug and play your own device. 14"W x 9-1/4"H x 8-1/2"D. |
