THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
In the 1950's, kitchen appliances were offered in many colors, and kitchen tables and chairs used a lot of chrome and Formica table tops. Bright and cheerful, we call these "refrigerator colors" and they are available at Joe's Radio Shop in custom kitchen colors and sports team colors. This striking "Sunflower Yellow" Emerson Bakelite radio is fully restored with no shortcuts taken. The original wax/paper capacitors have been replaced with new caps of equal values, resistors and tubes checked to insure years of listening pleasure. This five-tube, AM only radio broadcasts loud and clear with an internal antenna loop. The cabinet is free from chips or cracks and the original back is in great condition with the printed model number still visible. What a great looking and performing radio for not a lot of money! 11"W x 7-3/4"H x 5-1/2"D. |
