1937 was a great year for radio technology and design. Zenith introduced their big "black dial" radios that quickly became one of the most popular and high volume sellers in the world. This model was no exception. The 1937 line of consoles and table radios is at the top of my list, and I have collected many of them over the years. We offer this radio with our usual replacement of capacitors, out-of-tolerance resistors, bad tubes and any problems we find are fixed, then a complete alignment is performed. This six-tube radio has three bands (SB, SW, Police) and plays strong. This radio has an original finish, knobs and grille cloth. All I did was rub it out with some refinisher, and it turned out so good, I didn't want to strip it. We will be offering both refinished and original finish radios, as some folks like the patina that comes with the original finish. We ship our consoles by Greyhound. Please allow $150-$200 for shipping and handling. 40"H x 25"W x 13"D.
