Detrola 148 (1937)

Detrola 148 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
One of the coolest-looking sets from a company that made a lot of them--Detrola. The finish is original and is in beautiful shape except for some loss on the feet and a deep scratch on the top (running parallel to and just below the shadow in the top view pic.) Grille cloth, bullet knobs, speaker, and big black dial with gold lettering are also original. The eight-tube transformerless chassis has been fully restored (new caps, resistors and tubes checked, new power cord, controls lubed) and the set plays well on its three bands. Like every radio I sell, this will be extremely well-packed in many layers of industrial bubble wrap and sent in a sturdy box sized for the radio. Enjoy your quarantine time a little more with this excellent set!
