THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
From my Christmas in 1957, a beautifully pink GE. This radio could tell a story about Santa misplacing it in my pile of goodies, while leaving a white GE clock radio in my older sister's stash of toys. I was seven years old at the time, my sister said Santa meant for her to have the pink one and I said "...Santa doesn’t make mistakes" and kept it. Looks like this is the first 877 offered on The Attic. All the capacitors have been replaced with modern types, out of tolerance resistors replaced, tubes checked and replaced where needed, and a new fused power cord installed. It plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band picking up all my local stations, using its internal antenna. Light wear and polished up nicely. I do accept mailed checks and PayPal as payment. 10-1/2"W x 6-3/4"H x 5"D. |
