Detrola radios were always stylish, so very attractive and in great demand. Who doesn’t love eye tube radios, with their green looking "cat's eye?" They are so mesmerizing to view in a darkened room! This set has both the AM broadcast band and shortwave, so you will never be bored looking for stations to listen to. This cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a wonderful luster, paying respect to the original finish. All the capacitors have been replaced with modern types, out of tolerance resistors replaced, tubes checked and has new old stock eye tube, plus new period correct grille cloth. 12"W x 7-1/4"H x 6-3/4"D.
