THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Airline was the name brand for Montgomery Ward. This lovely "Machine Age" tombstone has some very interesting veneer inlays, which really set it off. I believe this Airline model is being offered on The Radio Attic for the very first time, making it somewhat unique. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a wonderful luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish. The worn grille cloth was replaced with a new period specific cloth, resembling the original. Original polished Bakelite knobs with new felt washers beneath to protect the cabinet. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band with the included length of antenna wire. 13-1/4"H x 12"W x 8-1/4"D.
