Arvin 544 (1946)
Arvin 544 (1946)
Beautiful small chocolate brown cabinet with subtle curves and something you don't often see, a Left-Hand dial. Arvin manufactured striking, popular well-designed radios in Columbus, IN. The cabinet had a very small hairline crack at a rear screw hole and though unnoticeable, it has been professionally repaired. It has been hand-polished to a reflective luster. It retains its original knobs, grill cloth and well preserved back. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band. 9-1/4"W x 6-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D.  $159.00.
