Unusual Air King model 699 offered for the first time here on The Radio Attic. Colorful backlit dial is beautiful in a dimly lit room! The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying homage to the original detailed finish. The dial had several superficial cracks, normal considering its age, and was reinforced with clear acrylic plastic during the restoration process. The grille cloth was replaced with era correct cloth that closely matches the tattered original. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM band with the included antenna, picking up stations amazingly well, especially for a TRF set. 12-1/2"W x 7-3/4"H x 6"D.
