Philco 49-501 "Boomerang" (1949)

Philco 49-501 "Boomerang" (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Here is the iconic radio of the era, Philco's infamous "Boomerang." Highly desired, difficult to find and sought after by virtually every collector I have ever known. This style is reminiscent of the futuristic show The Jetsons. Beautiful shiny, crack-free case with very little wear. I'd say someone kept this safely tucked away for safe keeping! Few have been offered on The Attic through the years, so don't miss out on such a nice one. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays and receives very nicely on the AM broadcast band with its internal loop antenna. 11-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D.
