THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Silvertone was distributed and marketed by the Sears and Roebuck Company. This golden dial marked Sears' "Golden Jubilee," which offered several radios of distinctive design and all had the round golden dial with the airplane style dial pointer, a favorite of collectors today. With six tubes, bright green magic tuning eye, AM broadcast and two shortwave ranges, nice waterfall design, black accented ribbed top corner, it's a beauty. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish. The set retains its original knobs with function lettering. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. 15-3/4"W x 10"H x 8-3/4"D. |
