THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
New Old Stock in original box! Difficult to date Juliette radios, as this was very likely one of the very last tube radios before they all disappeared due to the introduction of the transistor. Yes, I had one of these in 1961, when I was 11, almost 59 years ago. This "minty" WX-405 must have been kept in a time capsule, as it has its original boxes, even the original unmarked warranty registration. First time this model has been offered on the Radio Attic and it is truly a piece of history for any serious radio collector. I have checked it out electrically and it doesn’t need a thing. Plays quite well on the AM broadcast band for such a small set. Even the power cord hasn't even been unwound. If you're short on space, don't worry, it's quite small. 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D. |
