Emerson 578A (1946)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 578A (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little Emerson is "cute as a button!" Emerson had the top designer of the times, Charles Eames, design the cabinet and it was quite the rage. This Ingraham cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying homage to the original detailed finish. The set retains its original knobs. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band, picking up lots of stations, which is a marvel considering its size with just its internal loop antenna. 11"W x 6-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D.
