Howard 225 (1937)

Howard 225 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Howard made a high quality, well designed radio, but you don't see many of them, as their distribution could never compare to Philco or Zenith. I've seen collectors almost get into a fight over which one saw a Howard for sale first... now that's crazy! This model is being offered here on The Radio Attic for the first time. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying homage to the original detailed finish. The set retains its original knobs. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. 13-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 8"D.
