Midwest T-6 AM/SW (1942)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Midwest T-6 AM/SW (1942)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Offered here on The Radio Attic for the First Time is this beautiful Midwest T-6! Midwest sets are very hard to come by, especially the T-6. T-6 was Midwest's catalog number, as the company mainly sold only through their own catalog, not in retail stores. The dial is just amazing as the backlighting makes the escutcheon glow towards the bottom in a red hue. I believe Midwest was the only company to utilize this technique. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM & Shortwave bands. I've added an MP3 input should you wish to listen to your own music. This Midwest will add value and more importantly rarity to anyone's collection. 14"W x 9-7/8"H x 7-1/4"D.
