THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Offered for the very first time on The Radio Attic, a Goodyear "Wings" model 778. My wife said this radio looks like "eye candy," and I have to agree! A top of the line seven-tube superheterodyne set produced for Goodyear by Belmont. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish, including the accent lines around the side. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish and the sound is wonderful due to the large Rola speaker. 22"W x 11-3/4"H x 11"D. |
