Silvertone 4563 (1936)

Silvertone 4563 (1936)
Silvertone was distributed and marketed by the Sears and Roebuck Company. This golden dial marked their "Golden Jubilee," which offered several radios of distinct design and all had the round golden dial, a favorite of collectors today. With six tubes, AM broadcast and two shortwave ranges, nice waterfall design, it has everything going for it. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a gorgeous luster, paying respect to the original detailed finish with the ever so light edge darkening as original. The set retains its original knobs with function lettering. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM and shortwave bands. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish. 15-3/4"W x 10"H x 8-3/4"D.  $399.00. (1390277)
