THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Known by several fond names, the "Beehive," "Record Stack" and the "Pancake" radio because of its wonderfully designed grille. The cabinet was previously repainted in what appears to be the original antique white and is still very presentable. Not visible on the exterior, a small crack was previously professionally repaired on the inside left rear of the cabinet. The set retains its original knobs and has a clear dial cover. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on both the AM broadcast band, picking up lots of stations with the supplied wire antenna. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music should you wish. The Merry Macs and Jack Teagarden sure sound jivin' on this radio! 12"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
