General Electric J-80 Cathedral (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

General Electric J-80 Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Without a doubt the most sought after cathedral from General Electric. Advanced for its time, an eight-tube set with AVC and even tonal control. Original speaker, grille cloth and knobs. Another beautiful set straight out of our living room. Refinished a number of years ago and still drop dead gorgeous. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new period specific silk-cotton power cord. Even the Bakelite plug says GE on it), and it plays very nice and loud on the AM broadcast band. Don't miss out on this highly desirable radio! 19"H x 14-1/4"W x 10-1/2"D.
