THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Philco introduced this "Little Bullet" in their Fall 1940 line-up for 1941. You often see its big brother, the 37-610 "Big Bullet," but very few of these smaller ones come up for sale. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a very lovely finish with the original black accents. The dial cover was replaced with a new clear one. Original knobs and station markers. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays nicely on both the AM and shortwave band, as you would expect from a six-tube super-het. The original on-off top push button switch was unsafe, so I installed a new volume control with an integral power switch. MP3 input was added so you may listen to your own supplied music if you wish. 15-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H x 6-1/4"D. |
