Majestic 85 Tombstone (1936)

Majestic 85 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This is without a doubt the most collectible tombstone Majestic ever produced, and with good reason. The multiple veneers, the inlays, the classic design, new bright green magic eye tube, dial pointer is a back lit focused light, ornate detailed reverse painted dial, small separate indicator dials for functions (volume, band & tone) within the gorgeous one-piece escutcheon. It all adds up to just about the most beautiful tombstone ever made! This cabinet has been lovingly refinished using the very finest toning and clear lacquers, producing a beautiful luster, accenting the unique veneer inlays. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and is internally fused for your safety), and this eight-tube super-het plays very nicely on the AM and both shortwave bands through its oversized speaker. I've added a MP3 input, so you can expand your listening enjoyment should you wish listen to your own supplied music. 21"H x 16-1/2"W x 11-1/2"D.
