THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Airline was Montgomery Wards stores' own private label radio brand, which was sold nationwide. As you would expect from a large retailer, various manufacturers supplied their products according to marketing and distribution demands. This is an amazingly molded dark brown Bakelite radio with push buttons and a beautiful magic eye tube. No flaws nor cracks; it's absolutely beautiful and plays amazingly. Its cabinet has been carefully hand polished and sealed to keep the finish lovely and the grille cloth has been replaced with correct period specific cloth. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord) a new green tuning eye and it plays very well on the AM broadcast band. I have added an MP3 input so you may listen to your own supplied music should you wish. 13"W x 8-1/4"H x 7"D.
