THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Small Art Deco influenced set that will fit just about anywhere and in any decor. Firestone contracted Stewart Warner to produce these for distribution in their tire and appliance stores. The cabinet was designed and supplied by the Ingraham Cabinet Company, a bit of a rarity since it isn't an Emerson. A six-tube super-het with an internal loop antenna, original back, original knobs and new period correct grille cloth that matched the old faded one. The cabinet top was nicely refinished while the sides, which have "photo-finish" around the top and bottom, were carefully touched up to preserve the details. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band with a nice warm sound. 12-3/4"W x 8-3/4"H x 6-1/2"D. |
