Beautiful multi-colored dial, backlit, red and green. The airplane style dial pointer is a golden globe of the world, with a pointer at either end. A six-tube with a power transformer, a mid-price set for this era. The rear factory sticker shows, "C.R. & T.C." indicating it was manufactured by Continental Radio and Television Corporation, which years later changed their marketing name to Admiral. The cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a lovely luster. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs, internally fused for your safety and has a new polarized power cord) and it plays very well on the AM broadcast and the shortwave bands. 15-1/2"H x 14-1/2"W x 8"D. |
