THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This Philco Transitone PT-69 was introduced in the fall of 1939 and was a big hit because of its trapezoid shaped cabinet, performance, matching book veneers (either side looks darker or lighter depending on the viewing angle), frontal inlay veneers and the built in Sessions clock. This lovely cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a beautiful finish. The clock has been serviced, electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays nice and sweet on the AM broadcast band, picking up stations across the band. The clock, grille cloth, knobs and even the back are original to this radio. Good choice for the discerning collector. 12"W x 9-1/4"H x 6-1/8"D. |
