(wood tube table radio)

Firestone 7405-2/R-1651AS (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Offered here for the first time on The Radio Attic, this uncommonly difficult to find Firestone, which was manufactured for them by Stewart Warner. Firestone was good at making tires, but wisely sought the resources of other companies for their appliance and radio offerings for their stores in the day. This set has been displayed in my office a number of years, refinished nicely in lacquers and always caught the eyes of anyone in its presence. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays very nicely on the AM broadcast band. 14"W x 9-1/2"H x 8"D.
