A beautiful AM/SW set manufactured for R.H. Macy & Company by Emerson. Macy's, a New York City based retailer, offered this upper end set and it was a big hit, what with AM & shortwave, push buttons and a nice big dial with airplane style pointer. This is the first time this model has been offered for sale on the Attic. This beautiful cabinet has been refinished using the very finest toning and finishing lacquers, producing a lovely finish. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays very nicely on the AM and shortwave bands. 17-1/2"W x 9-3/4"H x 6-1/2"D.
