Zenith 6-D-312 (1938)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Zenith 6-D-312 (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You would be hard pressed to find another Bakelite radio of this era with as much Art Deco influence as this Zenith. It had it all going on and it was another one of Robert Budlong's successful designs. Some refer to it as the "Pancake" Zenith and others call it the "Bee Hive," but whatever you call it, it is one of the most collectible of all Zenith radios and quite frankly you would have a very hard time ever finding a nicer one than this. They don't come up for sale too often, so if you admire it as much as most collectors, act fast to make it yours! The case has been hand polished, looking quite lovely and really shines. The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety), and it plays superb on the AM Broadcast band. I've added an MP3 input for your listening enjoyment should you wish listen to your own supplied music instead of the standard broadcast band. 12"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D.
