Majestic 66 (1937)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Majestic 66 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Now this is difficult to find Majestic in this cabinet version and I believe it is the very first time a model 66 has come up for sale on The Attic. Personally, in my decades of collecting, it is the first one I have ever seen. The electronics have been completely restored and it has a new, sensitive bright green magic eye tube (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety). The reception is excellent on AM Broadcast and both shortwave bands. I've added an MP3 input for your listening enjoyment should you wish listen to your own supplied music, such as the Cab Calloway or Dean Martin. This is indeed an amazing radio, as the dial pointer projects a light from the rear of the colored dial, marking the dial position, plus it shifts positions when changing bands. Also, the volume control, tone and band controls have separate indicator windows. The cabinet has been refinished using the finest lacquers as when it was produced. Either cabinet side has small veneer cracks, which I chose to let them remain due to the beauty and originality of the wood. 19-1/2"W x 12-1/2"H x 10"D.
